This trolling of the Spanish football team was a glorious self-own (and not just because of the result)
As no-one anywhere needs reminding, there was no fairytale ending to England’s Euros adventure although, let’s face it, the best team won (and we’ve rounded up all our favourite reactions here).
We mention it again because there was no end of fighting talk before the game, obviously (in the nicest possible way). But none of the pre-match trolling was quite as memorable as this, from LBC presenter Iain Dale, for reasons which will become obvious.
