Fact checkers had to deny JD Vance had sex with a sofa – if you were wondering how well it’s going (NSFW)
In case you weren’t aware, vice-presidential hopeful JD Vance is the author of a best-selling memoir, Hillbilly Elegy, which was made into a film starring Glenn Close and Amy Adams.
It describes Vance’s rise from poverty through hard work and determination. What it does not describe – despite some very persistent rumours – is him trying to have sex with a sofa. Yes, with, not on.
With the announcement that he would be Trump’s running mate, the memes ramped up. It’s – as you probably guessed – not always safe for work.
